Andrew Wimble - Director
Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute and Chartered Wealth Manager, working for over 30 years as a stockbroker, fund manager and private banker. He has previously worked for JM Finn & Co, Barclays Wealth, where he was a director in the East African division, Kleinwort Benson and ANZ Grindlays Bank, where he travelled extensively throughout the Middle East. He has managed portfolios for private clients, foundations and charities.
Andrew has extensive experience of charity investment management and is presently a trustee and chairman of the investment committees of The Rifles Regimental Charities and D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust, chairman of the investment committee of the Savoy Educational Trust and previously has been a governor of a school. He is also a committee member of the Charity Investors Group.
Away from the office, Andrew is a keen aviator and Honorary Secretary of the Royal Air Squadron. He enjoys tennis, skiing and tending to his flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep.
William drake - ADVISER
A Cambridge graduate and qualified lawyer in the UK and USA, William was a US attorney until 1979 before going on to work in the investment and corporate finance business at Kleinwort Benson, followed by 17 years at Granville. In 2000, William established Lord North Street private investment office with Adam Wethered to provide conflict-free investment advice to very wealthy families, in most cases looking after their clients’ entire financial wealth and investing it across the full spectrum of asset classes and geographies. In April 2014 William and Adam sold Lord North Street to Sandaire, a multi-family office, becoming joint Vice Chairmen. In July 2016, they left to co-found Owl Private Office.
Amongst other roles, William has advised public and private companies and their owners on a wide range of matters, including business strategy, board structure and remuneration. He is a member of the Investment Sub-Committee at the University of Essex and a Director of The Colville Estate Limited, RFR Property Ltd and Pelican Family Investments.
